EK: Ulirang Ina

We went to Imus Cathedral for the Sunday mass last weekend. Isingit ko na, it was my first time to attend Holy Mass there and we got lucky kasi si Bishop ang nag misa. In the middle of the mass, bigla kong napansin si Nanay na may apat na anak na kasama. She was holding the hand of a handsome boy who seems to be the eldest, followed by two adorable girls and another lovely boy. I noticed something special with the eldest son. So the Nanay decided to carry her son. While her other kids were playing, listening, talking and running all at the same time. Riot in short. I usually get irritated by these. But at that instant, I felt an admiration towards the mother. Mukhang 8 yrs old si eldest, sunod yung little girl na mukhang 6 yrs old. I am not even sure where the father is. Pero that very moment, sobrang humanga ako kay Nanay. Itinuro ko sila kay hubby who saw them came in pala. He told me the same thing I was feeling towards the mother. And the only thing that I can do is to pray for them. I prayed that the mother be given enough strength, wisdom and patience para she won't get tired. And may she feels the love of her wonderful kids to keep her going.
