Our small business

I've been meaning to share to you guys what my husband does for a living. Here it goes. My uber handsome husband is a registered Civil Engineer. His first job was on a construction firm. That's where he learned the basics of construction. But impatient he is, he made a decision to look for other opportunities and decided to join Globe Telecoms. There he gained a lot of experiences (and drinking buddies as well). From building houses to cell site tower ang nangyari sa kanya. After that, he joined another company which helped him developed his managing skills naman. And when he felt he's responsible enough to have his own company, ayun, itinayo nya ang R. Mingo Builders. (At naging First Lady ako ng kumpanya. Lol!) Our Company Logo Managing a business is not easy. We may enjoy a little perks from time to time but it really requires time, patience and a lot of capital. :) A construction company requires a huge amount of funds, mind you. Hindi biro mga mare. Kelangan n...

I waited!

Thank you, Lord, for teaching us the value of patience. Now I know better, great rewards indeed come to those who wait. :)

Sad Day

I have so many stories to share sana today kaya lang after hearing a bad news from old colleague, naglaho si happy thoughts. A former Korean boss passed away today. He had a heart attack and was in coma for several weeks. Ang sad lang talaga kasi he was really nice. Ang bait bait nya. At ang bata pa nya. :( Wherever you are now, Baek, may you rest in peace. I know you're in a much happier place. Our condolences to his family.

MyHealth Clinic and Maxicare

I just got back from my check-up which I really opted imperative now that I am being too paranoid for my health. Since the trip to ER happened, I became excessively conscious of every single throb in my body. As in. And guess what? Meron nga akong na-observe. Simula kahapon, I've been experiencing pulsating-like stomach. Or above stomach na. Just right below my left chest. Noticeable talaga sya kasi pati damit ko gumagalaw. At because internet is so matalino, I searched for the possible cause and effect of my current condition. Hindi ko na kelangan pang sabihin kong ano ang mga resulta, after lunch, go na ako agad sa MyHealth Clinic in Shangri-La. Sosyal lang! Shang pa talaga. Hehe. Yun na po kasi ang malapit na clinic sa office namin na accredited ng Maxicare. To make this story short, the doctor advised me to have a repeat ECG, have my blood test for thyroid and have a thyroid ultrasound. More likely daw kasi na yung pulsating stomach ko eh related rin sa thyroid. I did all the...

My daily routine. Bow!

Remember my old posts here and there ? To the highest level ang stress ko dahil sa dalawa naming kasama sa bahay. I was supposed to send them home pero pinakalma ko muna sarili ko until my mom took over. After one day ng traning nila kay Mama, ayun nagpaalam na uuwi na daw sila. Hehe. Ayaw pala nilang magtrabaho, gusto lang pala nilang mag bakasyon. Anyways, the search for new kasambahay  is on. And while we are help-less, ganito ang pang araw araw kong routine. At least for weekdays. 6:00 am - I must be up and awake 6:05 am - Bath time 6:20 am - Preparing for work (this includes tidying of bed and pag separate ng used bottles ni Baby from last night with the unused ones) 6:30 am - Last minute touches for face and hair (I don't wear make up kaya hindi ako matagal mag ayos) 6:30-6:45 am - Waiting for a bus 7:00 am - I should be in a bus para hindi ako ma-late 7:01-8:45 am - Travel time from Cavite to Pasig 9:00-6:00 pm - Working Hours (in between, I find time to call my mo...

We went to Imus Cathedral for the Sunday mass last weekend. Isingit ko na, it was my first time to attend Holy Mass there and we got lucky kasi si Bishop ang nag misa. In the middle of the mass, bigla kong napansin si Nanay na may apat na anak na kasama. She was holding the hand of a handsome boy who seems to be the eldest, followed by two adorable girls and another lovely boy. I noticed something special with the eldest son. So the Nanay decided to carry her son. While her other kids were playing, listening, talking and running all at the same time. Riot in short. I usually get irritated by these. Minsan naiinis pa ako sa mga magulang ng bata kasi nakakadisturb talaga sila sa mga gustong mag simba ng taimtim. But at that instant, I felt an admiration tow...
