Womanhood and Everything in Between

Hello, guys! Today pala is Mama Mary's Birthday, only we weren't able to attend the Holy Mass because the two kids are sick. I brought Angela to the pedia last Wednesday night because of her cough, colds and skin rashes. Pati daw pala the rashes is due to her allergic rhinitis. I was really bothered by the rashes kasi wala naman talagang allergy si Angela sa mga foods. Ngayon lang sya nagkaron ng mga ganito. According to the doctor, malamang daw na-trigger yung allergy ng fish ball na kinain nya before. Mas malakas pala maka-allergy ang preservatives mga mare kesa sa mga malalansang food. Ganun pala yun. Anyways, came Thursday, si Baby Rain naman ang nagkasakit. I blame the bipolar weather that we have. Sobrang init kasi sa umaga tapos pag hapon bigla na lang uulan. Kawawa naman ang mga bata. We were told this morning that we will be discharged later this afternoon. Thanks to God for blessing us with wisdom and patience that helped us through this stressful week. Baby Aerin was actually doing well come Monday, but we were advised to stay to finish the antibiotic through IV since she couldn't take it orally. To all my friends/cyber friends who prayed with me, thank you so much. It meant a lot to us. =) I am planning to spend the whole week at home to make bantay. Sa Monday na lang ako babalik sa work. Sana everythibg will be ok na.

I need a lot of them for my Baby Aerin. =( After we were discharged from the hospital last Friday, she didn't take her medicines. The moment the medicine dropper touched her lips, she'll start throwing up. So that means, anything that was fed to her is also gone. Until today, ganyan ang sitwasyon namin. Natatakot na ako mga mare. Hindi ko na alam gagawin ko. =( Gusto ko na naman sya ibalik sa hospital kaso na trauma na sya sa ER kasi makailang ulit syang tinusok for the IV. I thought everything will be ok na kasi wala na syang fever and her cough has loosen up already. Hindi na sya hirap umubo. Ang kaso, dehydration naman ang kalaban ko ngayon. Her normal intake of foods/milk during daytime ay 2-3 bottles of 7oz milk plus she eats rice during mealtimes. Ngayon,  nakakaisang bote pa lang ng gatas tapos pakonti konti na kain ng kanin. After three restless nights and earnest prayers, our little princess is almost back to normal. She was hit by pneumonia, again. And now I feel bad as I type this. Now I feel so bad. =( How could I allow that f*cking pneumonia to do a strike two on my little kid? Bad!  on our second day at the hospital But I still feel grateful to God for knowing better. He chooses our battle. And He gives it to us on a perfect time. Despite the pain I felt whenever I hear my little princess whimpers in agony when she tries to cough her phlegm out but can't. I still thank God. Because I know He was with us the whole time.  Thank you, Lord! And you may want to know the best lesson I learned from this experience. I should update my Philhealth membership data and include my two kids as my dependent. Grabe, I was told by our pediatrician that we could have saved 5 figures with Aerin's case. She didn't inform me of the exact amount because she thinks "5 figures" will ma...

Tell me, pabayang nanay ba ako? I feel really sad today. Babay Aerin is sick again. It started with a fever last Sunday. I thought dahil lang sa bagong ngipin na lumalabas. It was accompanied with LBM. She was normal. Makulit, bungisngis at magana pa rin kumain. Yesterday she still has fever. Just the same, bibo pa rin. Until this morning. Bigla syang tumamlay. I didn't come to work kasi gusto ko na syang dalhin sa doctor. The doctor told us that it might be tigdas hangin kasi meron ng konting rashes sa likod. The fever might last until tomorrow. Nakakapraning lang kasi her fever went as high as 40deg. Sana tonight bumaba na temperature nya. Please pray for my daughter mga mare. Nakakaawa na kasi sya. Hindi na nya ma-meet yung desired weight nya kasi kagagaling lang nya sa sakit tapos eto na naman. Kaya I made sure na invited silang lahat. Para na rin makilala namin ang isa't isa. Eversince kasi we moved in, wala pa kaming nakakwentuhan na kapitbahay. Nagpapakiramdaman ata kaming lahat. Pero I'm super happy kasi lahat naman sila umattend ng party. =) I noticed lang, dun lang sila sa unang picture nakaupo. Haha. Although we always celebrate with a cake, I never had a cake as wonderful as this. Minnie Mouse themed cake from Tazzy Cakes 'Twas love at first sight! I knew I have to get the cake from Tazzy Cakes if I want to impress everyone, including my husband who questioned me why I paid a lot. He's kuripot like that. =) He's OK with those conventional cakes kasi. Hindi ako pumayag, gusto ko bongga ang cake ng anak ko! And it was. It was also my first time to offer cupcakes and I'm pretty sure that everyone fell in love with minnie mouse that day. Beautiful cupcakes It's flattering to hear my family and friends talk nonstop about how beautiful and delicious the cake and cupcakes are. I was supposed to blog yesterday but my mind was busy worrying kasi Baby Rain's cough got worse the night before. And I have to come to work na kahapon kasi andami ko ng absences. Kaya hindi rin mapakali ang lola mo dito sa office kahapon. Ganun talaga mga mare, no? Pag anak natin ang may sakit, hindi talaga tayo makampante. I woke up this morning with a bad headache. Hindi kasi ako nakatulog ng maayos kagabi kasi bigla kong na-realize na May na pala at wala pa akong nagagawa for Baby Aerin's party. Although I have a few ideas na naman kaya tingin ko hindi na rin ganun ka-toxic ang gagawin ko. We'll hold the party sa bahay na lang since we are planning to schedule the house-blessing on the same day para isang handaan na lang. Hehe. I've sent inquiries this morning to some suppliers so I have to wait for their responses na lang muna. For the meantime, search search na lang muna ako ng cake designs. I also decided to avail of Nestle's Ice Cream Cart. I ordered the ice cream this morning kaya one down na ako sa mga iisipin. =) Ano pa ba ang kulang ko? Hmmm... O sya, tuloy ko muna pag research ko ng iba pang suppliers para hindi sayang ang araw ko. =) Happy monday, everyone!

I gave in to Angela's request this afternoon to let them swim in her mini pool. Talaga naman kasing mainit. Though it wasn't my plan to let Baby Rain swim as well, wala na akong nagawa nung biglang umupo sa tubig ang bagets. At hindi ko magawang alisin sya sa tubig kasi tumitili pa sya sa sobrang tuwa. =) Did you watch the video? Sorry kasi medyo malabo, hindi ganun kaganda yung camera phone ko eh. Pero super nag enjoy yung mga bagets, di ba? =) How's your weekend so far mga mare?

Last na 'to, promise! :) Last Tuesday was Angela's Moving Up Day. They held the program at a covered gym malapit sa dati naming inuupahang apartment. (Namiss ko rin yung dati naming place, kahit hindi namin 'yun totoong bahay, dun kami nagsimulang mag asawa *teary eyed*) We were there 7:30 am, and since malayo yung pinanggalingan namin, haggardness na agad ako kasi sobrang nagmadali kaming umalis ng bahay. Hehe. Hindi ko man lang nagawang mag powder. Pagdating namin sa gym, todo make up yung mga mommies nung mga classmates ng anak ko. At pati yung mga junakers nila, todo ayos talaga. Hinila ko na lang si Angela sa isang tabi para malagyan man lang ng lipstick. Hehe. Pasensya na, simple lang talaga kaming mag ina. Simply beautiful. Chos! Ewan ko ba, ako talaga yung tipo ng tao na hindi ma epek. Don't judge me mga mare. Hindi naman ako pabayang nanay. Kaya lang sa sobrang simple, sometimes special occasions that need special attentions are taken for granted (?). I kn...

I'm sorry for this post, I just can't help to be proud of my angels. My husband took all the photos yesterday while they are having afternoon siesta that ended up to be an afternoon of harutan . Hangkyoooottt! :) That's me, PROUD MOM! :)

It's refreshing to see your two kids play and laugh. And it's delightful to watch them grow with full of love and care for each other. My Angela always remember her li'l sister . She always tells me to take good care of Baby Aerin and she never fails to shower her sister with hugs and kisses. Baby Aerin welcomes it with enchanting giggles. It's gratifying to see them young and vibrant and full of hope and life. Baby Aerin's playing with her Ate's headset Sweet! :) I wish that they will be forever like that with each other. I fear that they will have the normal sibling rivalry. I don't want that to happen to them. Because I love them both equally.
